Macbook Printing issue - Mar 2025
Jamf has now been moved from on-prem to the Cloud.
This move caused some issues with the Macbook policies.
The printer driver doesn't not seem to be installing through Jamf, so it has to be installed manually.
If any users are getting an issue with printing, please follow these steps :
1) Add the computer to the Exclusions for the following policy in Jamf : Install Fuji print driver
2) Manually install the print drivers on the macbook :
a) in Finder, Command-K and connect to smb://covenant.nsw.edu.au/ict/drivers (this command allows you to connect to the ICT network share)
b) navigate to Fuji/Mac-Sonoma and run the 2 DMG files, these will install the drivers for C7070 and C4421
3) navigate to this library to check that the drivers are there :
a) In Finder, on the menu select Go, Go to Folder... then type /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources to confirm it contains the driver files
4) Go to Self Service and run "Map Fuji printer" which will re-map the printers.
